Stephanie Vincent

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 11, 2017 in the Sunrise Chapel at Walters Funeral Home for Stephanie Vincent, 51, who passed away on Monday, August 7, 2017.   The Rev. Gary Schexnayder, Pastor of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, will officiate the ceremony.  Interment will take place at Highland Memory Gardens in Lake Charles, LA.

Visitation hours will be observed at Walters Funeral Home on Thursday, August 10, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., and will resume on Friday, August 11, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.  A rosary will be prayed on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m.

Survivors include her mother, Patricia Vincent of Lafayette;  one brother, Paul Vincent of Missouri City, TX;  one niece, Emily Vincent of Missouri City, TX;  one nephew, Brandon Vincent of Missouri City, TX;  one grandmother, Eulon Vincent of Jennings, LA;  and numerous extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her father, Norman John Vincent.

Stephanie was a graduate of Carencro High School and attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.  She worked and resided in New Orleans, Houston, and Austin.  She loved to travel, loved children, and loved babysitting for family and friends.  She was a kind soul and a true friend.  She always had a beautiful smile and a heart of gold.

Pallbearers will be Jeffery Doucet, Joshua Foreman, Brandon Vincent, and Charles Vincent.
