He opened his heart and home to many children as a foster parent with the Lafayette Catholic Diocese.  He loved Betty White, camping, fishing, trips to the casino, exploring the outdoors, and sharing his many artistic gifts and talents. He was blessed with the ability to make people laugh, and never met a stranger. He knew how to enjoy a good meal and loved spending time with his family. He remained a kid at heart, and even though he may have grown older, he never grew up.
