Patsy Chiasson

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 18, 2022 at 2:00 pm in the Sunrise Chapel at Walters Funeral Home for Patsy T. Chiasson, 77, who passed away July 13, 2022 at Hospice of Acadiana's Calcutta House. Father Albert Borel will conduct the funeral services. Olivia Hunter and Sophie Goodrich will be the lectors. Interment will follow the services in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will take place prior to the funeral service between the hours of 11:00 am - 2:00 pm. A rosary will be led by Pamela Johnson at 1:00 pm.
Survivors include her four daughters, Phyllis Chiasson (Gerard Guidry) of Lafayette, Stacy Chiasson of Lafayette, Stephanie Chiasson Goodrich (Raymond Goodrich) of Lafayette, and Shannon Chiasson (Richard Hunter) of Alexandria; one brother, Kim Tauzin (Loretta) of Lafayette; nine grandchildren, Meghan Mixon, Rebekah Dees, Benjamin Guidry, Abigail Guidry, Alex Goodrich, Sophie Goodrich, Olivia Hunter, Aaron Hunter, and Ian Hunter; and three great-grandchildren, Cooper Mixon, Tucker Mixon, and Grayson Dees.
She was preceded in death by her husband Patrick Chiasson; her parents, Marie Savoy and Dallas Tauzin; and one sister, Delores Dodson.
The family asks that memorial contributions be made in Patsy's name to The Calcutta House, 105 St. Christopher St., Lafayette, LA 70506.
