A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 31, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church for Anna Lois Sonnier, 90, who passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2014. The Reverend Gary Schexnayder, Pastor of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, will officiate the ceremony.
Interment will be at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Carencro.
She is survived by her caretaker and great-niece, Annette Chapman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee J. Sonnier, Jr.; and her parents, Mary Elizabeth Sommers and Andre Martin.
She was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #5345 Ladies Auxiliary.
The family requests that visitation hours be observed on Friday, October 31, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
A rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. on Friday by Deacon Nelson Schexnayder.
