A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 1:30 pm in the Sunrise Chapel at Walters Funeral Home for Audrey McKellar, 86, who passed away March 11, 2013 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Father Brian Taylor, pastor of St. Genevieve Catholic Church will celebrate the Mass and conduct the funeral service. A private inurnment service will be held at a later date.
Survivors include her two children, Kathleen Campbell of Carencro and Michael Lynch of the Philippines.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin McKellar; parents, Theresa and Harold Garitty; and her brother, James Garitty.
The family requests that visitation be held this Saturday at 11:30 a.m. until time of service. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society online at www.cancer.org.
