Corey Kothenbeutel

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 10, 2022 in the Sunrise Chapel at Walters Funeral Home for Corey Scott Kothenbeutel, 31, who passed away on September 30, 2022 in New Mexico. Chris Rose of Revive Church will officiate the services. Interment will follow in St. Alphonse Cemetery in Maurice, La.

Visitation will begin on Monday morning at 9:00 am until time of service.

Corey is survived by his mother, Debra Trahan of Carencro; brother, Collin Trahan of Carencro; two nieces, Delilah Trahan and Cora Hebert; and one nephew, Carter Broussard.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jeffery Kothenbeutel.

Corey was a native of Abbeville and most recently resided in Carencro. He was employed by Black Star Energy Services as a Pump Operator.

Pallbearers for the service will be Ryan Trahan, Cody Trahan, Collin Trahan, Chris Trahan, Seth Trahan, and Logan Trahan.
