Craig Anthony Futch

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. in the Sunrise Chapel at Walters Funeral Home for Craig Anthony Futch, 41, who passed away on October 5, 2025 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Father Gilbert Dutel will conduct the service. Inurnment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation hours will be observed on Friday, October 10, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m.

Craig was born on March 25, 1984, in Lafayette, Louisiana to Harold G. Futch and Jamie D. Futch. He marched to the beat of a different drum and had a kind heart that enabled him to connect with people instantly, turning strangers into friends. Music was truly his first love and his primary way of self-expression. Playing music was where he felt most himself and at home.

Craig is loved and survived by his mother, Jamie Futch of Lafayette, his brother, Corey Futch (Maggie Futch) of Rayne, his sister, Kerri Futch (Jon Woelfel), his nieces and nephews, Lily Futch, Avery Futch, Vivian Futch, Roger Woelfel-Futch, Mabel Woelfel-Futch, and his cherished little dog, Machine Gun.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold G. Futch, his Uncle Greg Futch, Aunt Gloria Domingue, Uncle Kenneth Futch, Uncle Robert Futch, Uncle Donald Futch, and his grandparents, Robert Delahoussaye, Joyce Delahoussaye, Minerva Futch, and Levy Futch.
