Funeral services will be held Monday, July 20, 2015 at 10:00 am in the Sunrise Chapel at Walters Funeral Home for Darleen Ann Aucoin, 57, who passed away July 16, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. Pastor Randy Dugas of Our Saviors Church will conduct the funeral services. Interment will follow the service in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include one daughter, Denise and her husband Dwaine Leger of Lafayette; one son, Jay and his wife Tavi Guidry of Youngsville; two sisters, Jackie Aucoin of Scott and Barbara Baron of Houston; four brothers, Daniel Aucoin of Milton, Curtis Aucoin of Crowley, Brent Aucoin of Milton, and Jared Aucoin of St. Martinville; five grandchildren, Michael Daly, Christian Daly, Lizzi Daly, Braxton Guidry, and Braylon Guidry; and her lifelong partner, Sandra Bourque of Duson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Myrtle and Clarence Aucoin.
Pallbearers will be Jay Guidry, Jared Aucoin, Michael Daly, Christian Daly, Braxton Guidry, Braylon Guidry, and Dwaine Leger.
The family requests that visitation be held Sunday, July 19, 2015 from 2:00 - 9:00 pm, and resume on Monday morning at 8:00 am until time of service.
