David Guidry, III

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, April 17, 2023 at 1:00 pm in the Sunrise Chapel at Walters Funeral Home for David Guidry, III of Carencro. David passed away on April 10, 2023 at the Heart Hospital at 67 years old.

The family will receive visitors between the hours of 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.

Left behind to cherish the good times are his wife Kathleen Guidry of Carencro; two daughters, Tonya Guidry (Michael Deshotels) and Olivia Guidry, both of Lafayette; two sisters, Sandra Faye Guidry of Arnaudville and Vicky Breaux of Opelousas; and two brothers, Ronald Guidry (Veronica) of Carencro and Paul "PD" Guidry of Breaux Bridge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edmae and David Guidry, II; and siblings Richard Guidry, Dana Aucoin, Linda Thibodeaux, and Dahlonaga Drouet.

David was a local musician that will be missed. He was a native of Lafayette, and lived in Carencro for the past 30 years.
