It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Deanna Marie Brasseaux Doucet born in Rayne, Louisiana on May 10, 1950 and departed from this life on September 16, 2025. She had 58 years of a wonderful, God-loving marriage and a life with her husband Camey Doucet.
Deanna cultivated a home filled with love, faith, and joy. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother to her two children, Mark (spouse Stacie) and Nancy (spouse Mark). Her legacy continues through her seven cherished grandchildren: Kelsey, Dylan, Hannah, Hailey, Harley, Hunter, and Haven, and her five beloved great-grandchildren: Daniel, River, Anniston, Beau, and Lucy.
Deanna found immense happiness in decorating her home for the holidays, especially Christmas, and poured her heart into cooking and baking for her husband and family. Her love extended deeply to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, always desiring the best for them and offering unwavering concern and support, particularly when anyone was ailing. She prayed nightly for her family and friends, a testament to her profound faith and care.
Deanna was preceded in death by her father, Whitney Brasseaux; her mother, Pearl Holloway Brasseaux; her sister, Joy Pryor; and her brother Harvey Brasseaux.
As per Mrs. Doucet's wishes, a private ceremony will be held with the family to honor her memory. Pallbearers will include Dylan Leger, Harley Doucet, Hunter Doucet, Haven Doucet, Braxton Leger, and Chris Pizarro. Deanna's warmth, devotion, and loving spirit will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
