Derek Jock

Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Scott, for Derek Ray “Shamrock” Jock, age 26, who passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2013. Fr. Mario Romero will officiate the ceremony.
Derek was born on December 2, 1986 in Lafayette, LA. He attended Acadiana High School. Derek loved spending time with his sons and taking them fishing. He made a lasting impression on his friends and family for having such a kind and generous heart. He will be deeply missed.
Survivors include his sons Landon and Josh, whom he loved dearly; their mother Misty Stockstill, his father, Darrin Gauthreaux, his brother, Kalin Jock, uncles and aunts, Tony Jock, Ricky and Angie Jock, Bobby and Shelia Meazell, Dennis and Vicki Shelton, and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Jock, and his maternal grandparents, R.D. and Veda Jock.
