Desiree Breaux

Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 23, 2026 at 11:00 am in the Sunrise Chapel at Walters Funeral Home for Desiree Breaux, 58, who passed away March 17, 2026.

Interment will follow the service in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include her companion Jay Duhon of Lafayette; one daughter, Stevi Jo Duhon and her husband Lance of Lafayette; two step-children, Christopher Breaux and Sherri Fargo, both of Lafayette; six siblings, Camie Holden, Skylar Savoie, Megan Savoie, Shadonna Blankenship, Anthony Wilkerson, and Roderick Hernandez, all of Lafayette; two grandchildren, Briar and Banks Duhon; and seven step-grandchildren, Claudia Breaux, Huck Breaux, Phoenix Breaux, Ozzy Breaux, Hunter Guillory, Alex Guillory, and Chase Fargo; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ricky Breaux; her mother, Patsy Wilkerson; and her daughter, Courtney Taylor Breaux.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Breaux, Lance Duhon, Cayden Thibodeaux, Colton Daigle, Brandon Sanford, Landon Dogie, and Chase Wilkerson. Honorary pallbearers include Dwight Breaux, Jay Duhon, and Briar Duhon.

The family requests that visitation be held Sunday, March 22, 2026 from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm; and resume Monday morning at 8:00 am until the time of service.
