She is survived by her husband, Jose Antonio Luis of Lafayette; one daughter, Elsa Milagros Estevez of Slidell; one sister, Diana Kapel of Toronto, Ontario, Canada; two grandchildren, Michelle Haik of Lafayette, and Michael Gravois of Dallas, TX; and two great-grandchildren, Camryn Haik and Tanner Haik, both of Lafayette.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose A. Diaz and Maria Carnot Enedina Diaz, of Matanzas, Cuba; and her first husband, Miguel Estevez of Metairie, Louisiana.
