Gregory Gene Case

A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held Saturday, August 1, 2026 at 1:00 pm in the Sunrise Chapel at Walters Funeral Home for Gregory Gene Case. Gregory passed away July 25, 2026 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. He was 69 years old.

The family requests that visitation be held between 11:00 am - 1:00 pm prior to the ceremony.

Gregory is survived by his wife Patricia Case of Carencro, LA; two daughters, Elizabeth Wiley of Portland, ME and Kristina Wiley (Steward Cayton) of Baton Rouge, LA; one son, Michael Case (Tanina Cadwell) of Seattle, WA and his bonus son, Issac Munoz of Erath, LA; two brothers, Richard (Sharon) Case of Brookhaven, MS and Darron (Kim) Case of Madison, MS; and one grandson, Julian Wiley (Liana Moroshko) of Boston, MA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vivian and Clyde Ellis Case.

Gregory was born in Brookhaven, MS and lived in Carencro for the past 30 years. He worked in the oil and gas industry for 35 years prior to retirement. He was the founder of Cajun Carts, a golf cart sales and service shop in Lafayette, LA.
