A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 13, 2024 between 1:00 - 5:00 pm at Walters Funeral Home for Gregory Paul Lopez, 59, who passed away January 5, 2024 at his residence. A prayer service and family eulogies will take place at 2:00 pm.

Survivors include his son, Adrian Lopez and his wife Ashley of Isabel, LA; his mother, Zella A. Lopez of Lafayette; and two siblings, Angela Bond of Tyler, TX and Phillip Lopez of Fayetteville, NC.

He was preceded in death by his father, Manuel Lopez.

Gregory was a native of New Iberia and resident of Hammond. He was employed as a nurse at Fresenius Medical Care for 19 years. Greg enjoyed live music and always looked forward to attending Jazz Fest with family and friends. He was an avid outdoorsman, and was a member of the Mosquito Ranch Hunting Club. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and coworkers.
