Jeanne B. Pigron

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 in the Live Oak Room at Walters Funeral Home for Jeanne B. Pigron, 96, who passed away on Friday, October 3, 2025. Visitation hours will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Jeanne is survived by her daughter, Barbara Tucker of Lafayette; four grandchildren, Lynda Landry, Daniel James Leal and his wife Zelma, Stonie Roger and his wife Monica, and Lynette Gary; seven great-grandchildren, James Roger, Tyler Albarado, Josh Barbo, Eli Leal, Jake Estrada, Emily Knight, and Madeliene Liles; and three great-great-grandchildren, Dominick Albarado, Frankie Dupuis, and Haven Barbo. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Elie Pigron; her parents, Edith and Maurice Broussard; one daughter, Linda Pigron; her grandson, Shannon David Landry; and her granddaughter-in-law, Debra Landry.

In her free time, Jeanne loved crabbing at Holly Beach, and enjoyed gardening, fishing, and spending time with her family.

The family would like to extend special thanks to River Oaks Retirement Manor, St. Joseph Hospice, and The Carpenter House.
