Joe "Tony" Jock

Joe A. “Tony” Jock passed away on Friday, May 2, 2014, due to a vehicle accident. He was born on December 15, 1964 in Athens, Texas.
He was a 1983 graduate of Acadiana High School. After graduating from high school, Tony worked with his father at H & S Construction. He later worked for Advance Auto Parts as a parts delivery driver. He was living in Opelousas at the time of his death. Tony loved his mother dearly. He will be remembered as a kind and loving person who never meant to hurt anyone in anyway. He loved animals and always had several dogs as pets.
Survivors include his brother, Ricky D. Jock and wife Angie, of Lafayette; and his nephew, Kalin A. Jock, of Baton Rouge; uncles and aunts, Bobby and Shelia Meazell, Dennis and Vicki Shelton; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Riley Dee and Veda Joy Jock; his sister, Karen A. Jock; and his nephew, Derek R. Jock.
Private graveside services will follow at a later date.
