Julienne "Judy" Hebert

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 15, 2026 at 2:00 pm in the Sunrise Chapel at Walters Funeral Home for Julienne "Judy" Hebert, who passed away June 10, 2026. She was 80 years old. Deacon Barney LeJeune will conduct the funeral services. Sharon Tacker and Kandice Dominic will be the lectors for the service. Musical selections will be performed by Phyllis Simar and Angela Comeaux. Interment will follow in Gallant Fields, the exclusive veterans section of Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 15, between the hours of 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. A rosary will be led by Connie Arceneaux at 11:00 am.

Survivors include her children, Cindy (Lee) Guilbeaux of Lafayette and Troy (Monica) Hebert of Carencro; two sisters, Betty Dupuis of Breaux Bridge and Linda May of Evangeline; one brother, John Chiasson of Jennings; and one granddaughter, Aniston Hebert of Carencro.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Una and Roy Chiasson; three brothers, Leroy, Donald, and Harry Chiasson; and one son-in-law, Gerald Guilbeaux.

Julienne was a native of Rayne and resident of Carencro for most of her life. She loved the outdoors, especially camping and fishing. She lived her life with a Southern joie de vivre, enjoying playing bouree, Cajun dancing and riding floats during Mardi Gras. She was a good friend to many, and loved her girls' trips to New Orleans to shop. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Eric May, Shane May, Corey Chiasson, Roy Chiasson, Shane Romero, and Korey Moreau.
