A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Walters Funeral Home for Margarette Dean Tucker, 86, who passed away March 19, 2017. Mark Broussard, chaplain of Lamb Hospice, will conduct the services.
Prior to the service, a short visitation will be held at Walters Funeral Home between 2:00 and 3:00 pm.
Survivors include her husband, Leo Tucker of Lafayette; daughter, Cheryl Doucet and her husband Randall of Carencro; step-daughter, Stacy Tucker of Lafayette; brother, Charles Hannon of Lake Charles; and two grandsons, Aaron Guidry of Scott and Connor Ford of Phoenix, AZ.
She was preceded in death by her parents Mabel LeBert and George Hannon; and one sister, Betty Miller.
Margarette was a native of Jennings and resident of Lafayette for the past 19 years. She was a cashier at Piggly Wiggly grocery store for 25 years prior to her retirement.
