Marie Louise Grossie

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, April 7, 2026 in St. Genevieve Church for Marie Louise Grossie, 94, who passed away March 28, 2026 at her residence. Father Brian Taylor, pastor of St. Genevieve celebrated the Mass and conducted the funeral services. Interment followed in Calvary Cemetery.

Survivors include her three daughters, Vicki (Michael) Latiolais of Baton Rouge, Sandy LaCroix of Lafayette, and Janice (Mitchell) Bourque of Lafayette; five grandchildren, Megan (Lucas) Thompson, Lauren (Paul) Courville, Steven (Jaclyn) Latiolais, Austin (Kellie) Bourque, and Riley Bourque; and four great-granddaughters, Madeline Courville, Penelope Latiolais, Addison Bourque, and Avery Bourque.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Grossie, and one sister, Marie Rose Viator.

Serving as pallbearers were Steven Latiolais, Austin Bourque, Riley Bourque, Mitchell Bourque, Michael Latiolais, Paul Courcville, and Lucus Thompson.
