Marilyn Spielmann

Marilyn Cook Spielmann, 69, passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Marilyn was born on March 14, 1941 to Alma and Robert Cook, Sr. in Maryville, TN. She attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where she met her husband William Spielmann.

In her free time, Marilyn enjoyed gardening, cooking, painting, and spending time with her friends and family. She was a loving wife and mother, and will be greatly missed.

Marilyn is survived by her husband, William L. Spielmann of Lafayette; one daughter, Ginger L. Spielmann of Lafayette; two sons, Michael R. Spielmann, and wife Cathy of Lafayette, and William S. Spielmann of Lafayette; two brothers, Ralph B. Cook of Nashville, TN, and Robert R. Cook, Jr. of Nashville, TN; and four grandchildren, Natalie Spielmann, Julia Spielmann, William Spielmann, and Nicholas Spielmann, all of Lafayette.

She is preceeded in death by her parents, Alma and Robert Cook, Sr.
