Mark David Guidry

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, October 13, 2025 in the Live Oak Room at Walters Funeral Home for Mark David Guidry, 66, who passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2025. Mark's brother, Gene P. Guidry, will lead the service. Lectors will be Ross McCarron and Meredith Guidry. A eulogy will be given by Mark's nephew, Gene E. Guidry. Interment will take place in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation hours will be observed on Monday, October 13, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m.

Mark is survived by three sisters, Dr. Lynn Guidry Lastraps of Broussard, Hazel Keahey (Dr. Thomas Keahey) of Blue Ridge Summit, PA, and Elizabeth Guidry Bartlett (Albert Lee) of Lafayette; and three brothers, Bubba Guidry (Claire) of Lafayette, Gene P. Guidry (Jeanie) of Arnaudville, and Paul Nolan Guidry (Lisa) of Broussard. He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Marilyn Barrilleaux Palfrey and Alfred C. Palfrey

Originally from Lafayette, Mark has been a resident of Kaplan for the past 20 years. He was a self-employed contractor.
