Survivors include his loving wife of 44 years, Cindy Beckworth Brasseaux of Lafayette, LA; one daughter, Victoria _Adria_ Elder of Lafayette, LA; two sons, Fred William Brasseaux of Lafayette, and Patrick Lee Brasseaux, Jr.; five grandchildren, Fred Brasseaux, Jr., Patrick M. Brasseaux, Morgane Brasseaux, Chloe Brasseaux, and Kenzie LeBlanc; and one great-grandson, Luis Brasseaux.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lily Mae Hanks Brasseaux; his father, Paul Brasseaux; and one brother-in-law, Fred Beckworth.
Mr. Brasseaux was a Veteran of the United States Navy, and served in Vietnam.
