Private family services were held May 3, 2016 in Calvary Cemetery for Mrs. Antoine "Tom" Ashy, the former Peggy Robbins, who passed away May 1, 2016 at her residence. She was 84 years old.
Reverend Hampton Davis, pastor of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, conducted the graveside services.
Survivors include her two children, Mary Lynn Cox and her husband Robert of Lafayette, and Tommy Ashy of Lafayette; six grandchildren, Victor Ashy, Marilee Andrews, Whitney Edge, Hillary Cox, Robert Cox and Thomas Ashy; and one great-grandson, Liam Hebert.
She was preceded in death by her parents, the former Mary Linda Harrell and William Reddin Robbins; husband, Antoine "Tom" Ashy; and one son, Victor Ashy.
Pallbearers were Victor Ashy, Thomas Ashy, Robert Cox, Ronnie Edge, Josh Andrews, and Harry Barton.
The family requested that memorial contributions be made in Peggy's name to St. Joseph Hospice, to 923 W. Pinhook Rd., Lafayette, LA 70503.
