Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Mervin Meaux of Rayne; two daughters, Debbie Landry of Lafayette, and Sylvia Meaux Miller of Rayne; five sons, Jerry Macip of Lafayette, David Macip of Lafayette, Harry Kragle of Pensacola, FL, Melvin Meaux and wife Barbara of Rayne, and Malcolm Meaux and wife Pam of Rayne; three sisters; three brothers; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Louise and Coleman Clay; one son, Joseph Macip, Jr.; two brothers; and two grandchildren.
In her free time, Rebecca enjoyed watching soap operas, taking care of her husband Mervin, and spending time with her family.
