Graveside services were held Monday, October 12, 2015 at 1:00 pm in Calvary Cemetery for Lafayette native Richard B. Thomas who passed away on October 6, 2015. He was 61 years old.
He was survived by his son Justin Thomas of Youngsville; one step daughter, Crystal Bowen and her husband Jonathan of Youngsville; his mother Margaret R. Carson of Deland, Fla.; two sisters, Tesse T. David and her husband Gerald of Deland Fla. and Madeline Blanco and her husband Raul of Miami; and one brother, James Simon and his wife Judy of Broussard.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wilson George Thomas; his wife, Susan Champagne Thomas, and one brother, Robert Thomas.
