Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 3:00 pm in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Scott for Rickie Paul Guilbeau, 58, who passed away November 7, 2013. Deacon Art Bakeler will officiate the ceremony, and Skip Dent will give the eulogy.
Survivors include two daughters, Hollie Guilbeau, Dana Guilbeau; two sons, Jacob Guilbeau and his wife Amanda, and Rickie Richard; and eight grandchildren, Tre Choplin, Brody Choplin, Chloe Guilbeau, Ethan Guilbeau, Brett Credeur, Logan Comeaux, Logan Thorton, and Karsen Richard
He was preceded in death by his parents, Viateur "Tatoo" and Carita "PU" Guilbeau, and one brother, Ernoll "EJ" Domingue.
Rickie was a lifelong resident of Scott. He loved playing his accordion, watching football and NASCAR, and driving across our nation.
The family wishes to thank Hospice of Acadiana, Dr. Mire, Dr. Monacada, Dr. Shanmuganathan and nurses Tricia, Monique, Ms. Mary, Chuck, Karen, Dana, Angela, Adrienne, and "Ms. Nurse" Vanessa; and to his dearest friends, Sherri Wilson and Crystal Theriot.
