Graveside services for Roger Brown, 66, will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Lafayette, LA on Friday, September 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. His friend, Buddy Tanner, will officiate the service.
Survivors include wife, Karen Wingate Brown of Channelview, TX; two daughters, Tracie Coker and her husband Jeff of Channelview, TX, and Jennifer Sumbera and her husband Curtis of Channelview, TX; two sisters, Ann Rudd and her husband Kenneth of Lake Charles, LA, and Pamela Hollier and her husband Danny of Scott, LA; and four grandchildren, Ashley Brown, Matthew Brown, Jayce Sumbera, and Trenton Sumbera.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Doris and Elmer Brown.
Roger is a native of Palestine, Texas and a longtime resident of Channelview, Texas. He was employed with Lyondell Petro Chemical Company for 19 years.
Pallbearers are Curtis Sumbera, Jeff Coker, Danny Hollier, Chris Theriot, Kenneth Rudd, and Daniel Rudd.
Visitation hours will be observed at Walters Funeral Home on Friday, September 16, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
