Sandra Allen Eschete

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at 1:00 pm in the Sunrise Chapel at Walters Funeral Home for Sandra Allen Eschete, 81, who passed away July 25, 2026 at her residence. Reverend Howard Blessing will conduct the funeral services. Karen Broussard and Ian Burks will perform, "Amazing Grace", "The Old Rugged Cross", "You Raise Me Up", and "I Can Only Imagine". Lectors will be Becky Marler and Kohen Lane Burks. Interment will follow the service in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include her daughter, Kim Burks and her husband Chad; and their daughter, Kohen Lane Burks, all of Youngsville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Errol Patrick Eschete; her parents, Anna and Norman Allen; and one brother, Tommy Allen.

Sandra was a native of DeRidder, and resident of Lafayette for the past 50 years. She was a teacher with the Lafayette Parish School System for many years. Upon retirement, she continued to substitute at Cathedral Carmel School.

Pallbearers will be Mark Allen, Ian Burks, Eric Runge, Brennan Davis, Elliot Leger, and Chad Burks. Honorary pallbearer is Mike Allen.

Visitation will be held Wednesday between the hours of 10:00 am - 1:00 pm.
