Scott Charles Fishback

A Visitation of family and friends will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday, July 17, 2026 at Walters Funeral Home for Scott Charles Fishback, 55, who passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. A private family interment will happen at a later time.

Scott is survived by his wife, Brooke Bercier Fishback; his son, Wrigley Bercier Fishback; his mother, Paulette Delana Fishback; two step-daughters, Leigh Anne Flatt and Olivia Flatt; and his aunt and uncle, Sharon and Byron Bollich. He is preceded in death by his father, Harry Ray Fishback, Jr.; his grandfather, Frank Charles Delana; and his father-in-law, Mike Bercier.

Scott is a graduate of the University of Southwestern Louisiana (USL), where he played college baseball as a left-handed pitcher. His son, Wrigley, was his best friend, and they enjoyed golfing and playing baseball together. He was a volunteer for the Cajun Cooking Club, and a member of LAPL (Lafayette Association of Professional Landmen).
