Shannon Faye Simon

Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 3, 2026 at 2:00 pm in the Sunrise Chapel at Walters Funeral Home for Shannon Theriot Simon, 58, who passed away July 28, 2026. Deacon Frank Cormier will conduct the funeral services. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Michael Simon; two daughters, Aimee (Carl) Frisby and Rachael (Alec) Turner; one son, Jason Theriot; one brother, Troy Theriot, and six grandchildren, Taylor and Matthew Frisby, James Turner, and Juliana, Jazzlyn, and Serenity Theriot.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sherry and Johnny Theriot.

Shannon was a native of Carencro. She was a member of the color guard at Acadiana High School in 1984. In her free time she enjoyed gardening and arts & crafts.

The family requests that visitation be held Monday between the hours of 10:00 am - 2:00 pm.
