Sharon Brothers

A private graveside service will be held for Sharon Brothers, 69, who passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025.

Survivors include her two daughters, Melissa K. Simon King (Jack) of Katy, TX, and Sarah Hummer of Lititz, PA; two sons, Craig Simon (Katelyn) of Lafayette, and Adam Hooper of Pennsylvania; three sisters, Catherine McGuire of Carencro, Jenny Fredericks (Danny) of Lafayette, and Angela McGuire Cormier (John R. Cormier, Jr.) of Scott; one brother, Darrell McGuire of Carencro; eight grandchildren; and eight nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Brothers; her parents, Dorothy and Gervis McGuire; one daughter, Rebecca Hooper; and one sister-in-law, Patsy Robin McGuire.

In her free time, Sharon loved to fish. She will be greatly missed.
