Shawn Mayer

Memorial services will be held Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the Live Oak Room at Walters Funeral Home for Shawn Mayer, 60, who passed away September 2, 2023 at his home in Carencro.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Mayer of Carencro; three sons, Timothy (Simone) Stoute of Church Point, Dustin  (Jayne) Mayer of Youngsville, and Cody (Genne) Stoute of Scott; two brothers, Brian (Joy) Mayer of Houston, TX, and , Michael (Gwen) Mayer of Denver, CO; and seven grandchildren, Jaden Harrington, Gabriel Stoute, Laykin Stoute, Benjamin Mayer, Brae Derise, Amelia Mayer, and Elliott Mayer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Patricia and George Mayer. 
Shawn was the safety fleet manager for Analytic Stress Relieving for 35 years. 
The family requests that visitation be held Thursday, from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm at Walters Funeral Home.
