Theresa Babineaux

Catholic funeral services will be held Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 10:00 am in the Sunrise Chapel at Walters Funeral Home for Theresa Babineaux, 74, who passed away May 16, 2018. Deacon Ken Soignier will conduct the funeral services. Stephanie Hoffpauir, organist and soloist, will perform "I Have Loved You", "Psalm 27", "Ave Maria", and "I Heard God Today". Interment will follow the service in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include her daughter, Lela Beth Babineaux of Youngsville; two sons, Albert Lyn Lindsey and his wife Joann of Cabot, Ark., and Lee Babineaux of Mire; four grandchildren, Jessica Rensing, Zack Lindsey, Shyanne Gasek, and Alex Geer; and three great-grandchildren, Jolynn, Lucy, and Lucas Rensing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, the former Lelia Duhon and Lazard Daigle; one brother, James Daigle; and two sisters, Wilda Babineaux and Joyce Daigle.
Theresa was a Church Point native. She resided in Breaux Bridge for 28 years before moving to Broussard for the last 3 years of her life.
The family requests that visitation be held Friday, May 18 from 1:00 - 8:00 pm, and resume Saturday morning from 8:00 am until services. A rosary will be led by Sister Doris Roy at 6:30 pm on Friday evening.
