Theresa Mitchell

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the Sunrise Chapel at Walters Funeral Home for Teresa P. Mitchell, 96, who passed away November 2, 2015. Reverend Gary Schexnayder of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church will conduct the funeral services. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include two daughters, Marcella Vanryckeghem (Bill) of Lafayette, Louisiana and Patricia Young (Milo) of Grand Isle, Louisiana; four grandchildren, Gail Kishbaugh, Ronnie Vanryckeghem, Michael Vanryckeghem, and Andrew Stolsek; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud Mitchell; and her parents, Rudolph and Anna Petrzelka.
Ms. Mitchell was a native of St. Louis, Missouri and a resident of Lafayette, Louisiana for the past nine years.
The family requests that visitation be held Thursday from 11:00 am until time of services at Walters Funeral Home.
