Ashlie Dohmann

Memorial services will be held Thursday, August 5, 2021 at 5:00 pm in the Sunrise Chapel at Walters Funeral Home for Ashlie Alexis Dohmann, 38, who passed away on July 30, 2021. Father Russell Harrington will conduct the memorial services.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday afternoon prior to the service between 1:00 - 5:00 pm. Due to the state's mask mandate, visitors must wear face coverings at all times while inside the building.
Survivors include her parents, Monessa "Meko" Douet and John Adam (Tammy) Dohmann; her son Everett Butler and his father Orlando Butler; one sister, Morgan Dohmann; and one brother, Jason (Marcos Martinez) Dohmann.
Ashlie was a native of Church Point and lived in Lafayette for most of her life. She worked at Marcello's Wine Market and Cafe for the past eight years.
Ashlie was a devoted mother to her son Everett; he was the joy of her life and what she was most proud of.  She loved to make people laugh and her collection of purses and jewelry. She will be remembered as a beautiful soul who brought joy to so many, and the world will be a little darker without her. She will  be dearly missed by those who were lucky enough to have met her.
