Jason Dorr

Lafayette resident Jason Dorr passed away at his residence on Sunday, May 22, 2022. He was 51 years young.
He is survived by his only son, Stuart Allen, his wife Brittany, and their son, Greyson; his mother, Cathy Dorr of Indiana; father, David Dorr and his wife Kathleen "Sally" Dorr of Henderson, La.; the mother of his child, Hellice Harris of Lafayette; and many good friends.
Born in Winona, Minn., Jason migrated to South Louisiana later in life. He was a very talented chef for many years. He enjoyed cooking and sharing his love of food with others.
Jason was the type of person that made everyone laugh. He was the jokester of the group. At an early age he developed a true love of skateboarding that  brought him much joy. He also enjoyed fishing down at Cypremort Point and going to the beach. He will be truly missed and never forgotten by all of his family and friends.
