Marcella Vanryckeghem

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 1, 2022 at Walters Funeral Home for Marcella Vanryckeghem, 81, who passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022.  Father Gregory Chauvin, Pastor at St. Jules Catholic Church will officiate the service.  Inurnment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation hours will be observed on Friday, July 1, 2022 from 11:30 a.m. until time of service.  A rosary will be prayed on Friday at 1:30 p.m.

Marcella is survived by her husband, Bill;  one daughter, Gail;  two sons, Ronnie and his wife Gina, and Mike and his wife Margaret;  four grandchildren, Peter, Clara, Keith David, and Evie;  and one great-granddaughter, Stella.

Marcella was born in St. Louis, Missouri, lived in Luling, Louisiana for 28 years, and has resided in Lafayette for the last 20 years.  She was an avid golfer and tennis player.
